Netflix’s Erroneous Error Message

When you try to log into Netflix with Epic’s encrypted proxy enabled, you’ll get an error message “Wrong Password.”

An interesting thing happens when you disable Epic’s encrypted proxy and try to log into Netflix with the exact same password. It works. You will be logged into Netflix.

Why does Netflix give the error message “Wrong Password” instead of “Disable your Encrypted Proxy / VPN”? We’re not sure — perhaps and most unfortunately to confuse users to cease using these privacy-protecting tools?! We’re not sure, but it’s unprofessional and unethical to show erroneous error messages. We hope Netflix returns to presenting accurate error messages when using an encrypted proxy or VPN tool as they used to. It would be even nicer if they worked out a way for users to use an encrypted proxy or VPN but still access Netflix.
